Where are sessions held?
Sessions can either be run in a playroom at the British Engineerium in Hove or at your child's school. There are pros and cons to each option and this is something we can discuss to find the best venue for your situation.
How many sessions will my child need?
The number of sessions required varies from one child to another. I usually suggest starting with a block of 6 sessions.
What do children do in a session?
This is largely up to the child. I sometimes suggest activities I think could help a child. Some children like to try out all of the different options whereas others prefer to stick to the same ones week after week. They have access to the full toolkit of a sandtray, art materials, clay, instruments, games, puppets, role play and movement resources, books, and sensory materials.
